The Spanish racing driver ”Fernando Alonso Diaz” is an F1 ace who started his career at the age of 17 in the 1999 Euro Open by Nissan with Campos Motorsport. The Formula One Star ”Fernando Alonso” of Aston Martin, has been showing his levels since joining Minardi in 2001 and made an impressive debut the following season. Witnessing his debut performance, Renault in 2002 signed him as a test driver. The 21-year-old became the youngest-ever pole winner in his second race for Renault and the youngest Grand Prix winner to date.

Talking about his championship wins, Alonso from 2001 to 2023 has claimed the World Championship twice making him a Double World Champion, winning his first title in 2005 and becoming the youngest winner at the age of 24 years and 58 days. In 2006 he defeated Michael Schumacher and won his second consecutive title.

After over 300 entries Alonso has won 32 Grand Prix, earned 22 pole positions, and scored 2267 points. The 42-year-old ended the 2023 season with 206 points and secured fourth place. Fernando Alonso is the only Spanish Formula One driver to have won the World Championship. Aston Martin chose Alonso in 2023, as their driver seat was vacant after Sebastian Vettel‘s retirement. Despite a disappointing performance of Aston Martin, Alonso was able to grab around 8 podiums in the 2023 season. Being the oldest driver on the grid, his retirement has become a hot topic, but the Spaniard not showing signs of stopping anytime soon.
