Sebastian Vettel, a former Formula 1 driver, addresses recent allegations that Formula 1 is an unsafe place for women. When seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton expressed his worries about the representation of women in sports and how it discourages women from participating in the sport. 

The Red Bull team principal, Christian Horner’s recent allegations about misconduct towards a female employee have raised several questions about women’s safety in the sport. When asked about the recent allegations about Vettel’s former team Red Bull, Vettel highlighted the value of transparency for the audience and offered clarity about the issue to the people. While displaying respect for people’s right to privacy.

“The big picture you know you have a certain responsibility to you know explain to your audience what’s exactly or what’s going on to then be able to draw the right conclusions so that’s where I just feel if things were a bit clearer for everyone then it would be easier to make a judgment,” says Vettel.

Vettel, known for his sportsmanship both on and off the track, addressed the matter with a thoughtful and balanced opinion on the issue, highlighting both the progress and the challenges that remain.

Lewis Hamilton Addresses Formula 1’s Male Dominance

 The Mercedes driver, Lewis Hamilton, raises his concerns about the sport’s circulating false narrative that highlights dismissing a female employee who speaks up about a problem and has sport failed to hold individuals accountable for their actions.

“It is still a male-dominated sport and we’re living in a time where the message is, ‘if you file a complaint, you’ll be fired’. And that is a terrible narrative to be projecting to the world, especially when we’re talking about inclusivity here in the sport, we need to make sure that we’re staying true to the core values here,” Hamilton says.

Sebastian Vettel believes in improving equality and inclusion in the sport, which is evident by his reaction to Lewis Hamilton’s comments regarding the unfavorable atmosphere for women in Formula 1. Despite these difficulties, Vettel is positive about the changes that are taking place in Formula 1 and the possibility of a more inclusive environment for all, regardless of gender.

The allegation against Red Bull’s team principal has led to the suspension of the female employee stating the lack of evidence within the investigation. Even though the public has not received a lot of information regarding the matter, it raises more concerns.
