The 2024 Formula 1 Championship resumes this weekend with its fifth race of the season which is the Chinese Grand Prix 2024.

In 2024, the famous Chinese GP, which has been in the F1 calendar since 2004 is making a comeback after being canceled in recent years due to COVID-19 Pandemic.

The event plans to hold its first sprint race of the season before the main race, eliminating free practice sessions to save time.

Many teams could view the Shanghai International Circuit as a journey into the unknown.

It has yet to host the current ground effect generation of cars, having been cut from the calendar since 2020.

With two qualifying sessions and 74 laps of racing action, it’s an F1 race weekend you may not want to miss. Here’s how to watch the 2024 Chinese Grand Prix.

Where To Watch Chinese Grand Prix 2024: Live Streams and TV Details

The 2024 Chinese GP will be broadcast on many sports TV channels around the globe as of every GP.

Here’s a list where you can watch in your country.

  • UK – Sky Sports, Channel 4
  • USA – ESPN
  • INDIA – FanCode, F1TV
  • AUSTRALIA – Fox Sports
  • CHINA – CCTV, Shanghai TV, Tencent, Guangdong

Sky Sports F1 will broadcast all on-track sessions live, starting with the only Free Practice session of the weekend on Friday at 4:30 am.

Subscribers can access onboard streams from each of the 20 cars, including radio messages.

Which allows them to follow their favorite driver on their phone while watching the main feed on TV.

The onboard streams are also available on TV, as is a ‘Battle Channel’ offering split-screen coverage of the best fights for position.

Keeping aside TV broadcasters, F1TV remains the only source available in all countries through subscription, allowing fans worldwide to access it at the price determined in their country.
