After successfully defend his 155 lbs gold against Conor McGregor, Khabib Nurmagomedov defended the strap twice. He beat Dustin Poirier (UFC 242 in 2019) and Justin Gaethje (UFC 254 in 2020) respectively. The Russian fighter earned his biggest paydays in those two bouts.
