The 2024 FIA Formula One World Championship is a planned motor racing championship for Formula One cars. It will be the 75th running of the Formula One World Championship. The championship is scheduled to be contested over a record twenty-four Grands Prix held around the world. It is set to begin in March and end in December. The 2024 Formula 1 series starts on March 2 with the season-opening race in Bahrain.

As per reports, In 2024 the driver grid will remain unchanged. The 20 drivers that line up in Bahrain on March 2 will exactly be the same as the 2023 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. This grid of 20 drivers is not expected to last long as only 5 drivers have extended their contract beyond 2024. Lewis Hamilton, George Russell, Lando Norris up till 2025, Oscar Piastri (2026), and Max Verstappen (2028).
