Who Is Kelly Piquet?
Apart from winning races, One thing Verstappen won is the heart of the famous model “Kelly Piquet”. Both, Max and Kelly started dating each other in 2020 but went public with their relationship in early 2021 announcing it on social media in the New Year post. Kelly born in Homburg, Germany on December 7, 1988, is the daughter of the former F1 driver “Nelson Piquet” Brazilian racing driver and three-time Formula 1 champion. During her college days, Kelly was doing an internship in fashion. She later continued her job and posed for PatBO and Lucas Boccalão as a model and catwalked some of the fashion shows also was responsible for Formula E social media coverage in 2015. In 2017, Kelly dated the former Russian Formula 1 driver “Daniil Kvyat” and had a daughter together, Penelope, just months before they split in 2019.
Verstappen in 2020 welcomed Kelly as his partner along with her four-year-old daughter. In one of his interviews “I’m not the father, that’s not the aim, it’s always very important that she has a good relationship with her father, which she has”, said the Dutchman. Apart from being a model she has worked as a health and wellbeing coach at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition since January 2018. In the recent Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2023, Kelly posted a picture with Max announcing the end of the season and congratulating him on winning the championship.
