The Wife of Khabib Nurmagomedov: Patimat Nurmagomedov
Khabib Nurmagomedov married Patimat back in 2013, with over 3,000 guests attending the ceremony. What’s more, like ‘The Eagle’, his wife was also born in the rugged mountains of Dagestan in Russia.
Nurmagomedov and Patimat first crossed paths in the beautiful village of Tsumadinsky district of Sildi. Not only did they attend the same school, but they also found themselves sharing a desk in their classes.
This is the place where Nurmagomedov first met the woman who would become his future wife, often regarded as his one true love. However, ‘The Eagle’ had to relocate to Kirovaul, a bigger village in Dagestan, shortly before moving to the republic’s capital, Makhachkala.

Despite the distance, Nurmagomedov always had a place for Patimat in his heart. Thus, when he turned 22, the former UFC champion decided to tie the matrimonial knot with Patimat.
As per a report from Sports Express, Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov revealed why nobody has seen the face of Khabib’s wife. He said:
“A husband tells his wife to cover herself and she does. Her beauty should belong only to her husband. It is not a matter for discussion today. Everything was decided 400 years ago.“
Patimat seemingly spends most of her time in Dagestan and doesn’t have a social media presence. It is complementary to the former UFC champion, who also has quite a laid-back approach when it comes to social media.
